Econess Energy Unveiled a Brand New Half-Cell Battery Module at The Solar Show Africa
On March 26, 2019, Johannesburg, South Africa, sunny. The outdoor temperature is 29 ℃, and the venue is even warmer and more radiant.

It is reported that more than 8000 professional visitors from over 40 African countries were gathered this time.

As a photovoltaic manufacturer, Econess Energy has always attached great importance to the development of the African market. This time, it has also brought a new product, the polycrystalline half cell module EN156P-120 series, which was recently launched, with a power of up to 285W.

For many years, Econess Energy has adhered to the concept of combining innovation and practicality, constantly exploring and advancing. The half chip technology used in this new product has the advantage of "upgrading" compared to traditional components, allowing polycrystalline battery cells to achieve wattage output similar to conventional single crystal components after cutting and string assembly, further improving the cost-effectiveness of polycrystalline components.

The  half cell module of Econess Energy adopts the traditional battery cut in half, and the special circuit design makes the module current only half of the traditional full cell module, greatly reducing internal resistance loss. At the same time, more gaps between battery cells increase the internal reflection of the components, effectively improving the photovoltaic conversion efficiency of the battery. In addition, the design of half cell batteries is less affected by issues such as grid breakage and hidden cracks, and the risk of hot spots during outdoor use of components is lower, resulting in better product reliability.

At present, the company has formed an annual production capacity of 200MW of half cell battery modules, which is expected to reach 500MW by the middle of the year. At the same time, the R&D personnel of Econess Energy revealed that the company's double-sided double glass half panel battery modules are also in preparation and are expected to debut in the next few months. Let's wait and see!
